What is an Agora?

Agora is the General Assembly of AEGEE and takes place twice a year. Around 600 AEGEE members from all over Europe gather to discuss proposals and projects, take decisions and set up the guidelines for the future programmes of AEGEE.

The Spring AGORA 2008 is organised by AEGEE-Ljubljana.

What is AEGEE?

AEGEE is one of the biggest interdisciplinary student associations in Europe; it is represented by 15.000 students, active in 241 academic cities, in 40 countries all around Europe, which presents amazing culture variety. AEGEE is a secular, non-profit organization, not linked to any political party. All projects and activities are based on voluntarily work of its members.

The aims of AEGEE are to promote a unified Europe without prejudices, to strive for creating an open and tolerant society of today and tomorrow and to foster democracy, human rights, tolerance, cross-boarder co-operation and mobility. Learn more about AEGEE in Wikipedia or at the official site.
