AGORA is not just about plenaries ... it's also about crazy parties. So get ready for 4 unforgettable, Europeanly themed nights. Every night we’ll take you on a journey to one part of Europe, and off course you have to be dressed properly to fit in:
to enter the parties you should present one document of identification, such as Identity Card or Passport!!

Metelkova is an autonomous social centre in the centre of Ljubljana. It is located on the site of former military barracks (the Slovenian headquarters of the Yugoslav National Army) and was squatted September 1993. The site consists of seven buildings and was 12,500 m². At Metelkova a range of activities have been held. These include an art gallery, bars, artists studios, space for designers, offices of cultural organisations and concerts featuring different types of live music from Free Jazz, Heavy Metal and Noise to Dub and Techno. Street performers start playing the accordions and trumpets, filling the street with dancing crowd. … you’re visited in your sleep by “matryoshkas” (babooshkas), all seven of them. They take you to the world of Eastern fairytales, where Trans-Siberian railway is the transportation, fur hat is a must-have-all –year-long, where they drink beer as water and vodka for good morning. Matryoshkas put you down in a typical bar, filled with weight lifters. Just as you sit down, graceful girls on skates approach and take you to the dance floor. When you hear the glasses being thrown against the floor, you know the party can begin ... |
